Shipping Policy

When will my package be shipped?

Your package will typically be arranged for international express shipping within 2-6 business days from mainland China.

Which courier company will handle my order?

All international orders are primarily shipped via SF Express (www.sf-international.com). We may use FedEx Express, UPS Express, or DHL Express for certain special orders.

How can I track the status of my package?

Please visit the official website of the respective courier and enter your tracking number to check your package status. Important! Using the wrong courier’s website may make you unable to locate your package information.

When will I receive my package?

You will receive an email once your package is shipped with the tracking number. Delivery for international orders usually takes at least 1-2 weeks. Please be patient, and if you encounter any issues, feel free to contact our after-sales service at service@ofhunger.com. We will communicate with you promptly to resolve any problems.

Will I need to pay customs duties for my package?

Please note that customs duties and import fees may apply depending on your country’s policies, which are subject to change. 

If your local customs require you to pay duties and you refuse, your order may be destroyed by customs or returned to us. 

If we receive your returned order, we will deduct the relevant shipping, duties, and customs processing fees from your refund.

Return & Exchange Policy

Before initiating your return, we kindly invite you to verify the correct website of your purchase and carefully read the corresponding return policy:

  • For any orders that have already been shipped but are rejected by the customer for personal reasons, the customer is responsible for both the shipping cost (including return shipping). The refund will be the total amount you paid minus the entire shipping cost.

  • Our products have undergone rigorous quality control. Due to the susceptibility of the gold-plating layer to minor scratches, which may impact secondary sales, we regret to inform you that returns or exchanges will not be accepted once the product is unsealed. Please ensure that the product you are returning packaging is complete; otherwise, we will be unable to accept your return and issue a refund.However, should you encounter any quality issues, please contact our official customer service within 7 days for after-sales assistance.

  • For any return orders, you can apply for a return and refund on www.ofhunger.com through the system or contact us via Email: service@ofhunger.com

  • Once your package reaches the warehouse, please allow 3 to 7 business days (depending on peak times) for the processing of your return or exchange. If your return does not meet the conditions listed, the package will be sent back to you. Upon acceptance of your return or exchange, you will receive a confirmation email, and your refund/ replacement order will be issued. Just a reminder that the refund will deduct the shipping cost; only the product purchase price will be refunded.

During the storage, transportation, and usage of electronic products, the surrounding environment may impact the working performance, reliability, and lifespan of the product. Environmental factors that can affect electronic products include temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, solar radiation, rain, wind, ice and snow, dust and sand, salt spray, corrosive gases, mold, insects, and other harmful animals, vibration, impact, earthquakes, collisions, centrifugal acceleration, acoustic vibration, oscillation, electromagnetic interference, and lightning. 

  1. After use, wipe fingerprints with a glasses cloth.
  2. Avoid storing with sharp or hard objects.
  3. Avoid contact with chemical substances such as cosmetics.
  4. Keep it as dry as possible, avoiding prolonged storage or use in humid environments.
  5. Do not use in dusty, damp, dirty, or close to magnetic field environments, as it may cause internal circuit malfunctions.
  6. When using headphones, it is recommended not to set the volume too high to prevent hearing damage.
  7. It is recommended not to use headphones while driving to avoid distraction.
  8. Headphones are sensitive to high temperatures; avoid proximity to heat sources or open flames, such as electric heaters, microwaves, stoves, water heaters, candles, or other places that may generate high temperatures.
  9. Do not dry the headphones with appliances like microwave ovens or hairdryers.
  10. Strong impacts on headphones and accessories may cause damage.
  11. It is recommended to place headphones in a ventilated, cool, and sun-free location during daily use.
  12. It is recommended to keep headphones out of reach of children.
  13. The battery is not replaceable by yourself.
  14. Unauthorized disassembly or modification will void the warranty service.
  15. The radio waves generated by headphones may affect the normal operation of implanted medical devices or personal medical equipment, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, hearing aids, etc. If you need to use these medical devices, consult medical device personnel.
  16. It is recommended to use a regular brand and matching power supply or charger.

Repair Service Guide

Our products come with a 12-month warranty (excluding damage caused by human factors). In the case of intentional damage to the product leading to the need for repairs, customers can arrange for maintenance after a factory assessment based on the specific situation, and the customer will bear the cost. Damage caused by force majeure is not covered by the after-sales service.

Non-human damage refers to performance malfunctions, hardware power failures, no sound, inability to charge the charging case, etc. Human damage refers to scratches on the metal surface, malfunctions caused by dropping, water entering the internals, etc. Force majeure refers to natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, typhoons, etc.

The after-sales three guarantees include the following services:

  1. Within 7 days from the day after you sign for the product, if there is a performance failure, after confirmation by the OF HUNGER after-sales service center, you can enjoy free return, exchange, or repair services.
  2. Within 8-15 days from the day after you sign for the product, if there is a performance failure, after confirmation by the OF HUNGER after-sales service center, you can enjoy free exchange or repair services.
  3. Within 12 months from the day after you sign for the product, if there is a performance failure, after confirmation by the OF HUNGER after-sales service center, you can enjoy free repair services.

FAQ

What are open-style Earphones?

  • Open-style Earphones are the opposite of in-ear Earphones. They are designed to coexist with ambient sounds rather than block them.

  • Open-style Earphones are designed based on natural sound field principle which aims to replicate the auditory experience of the human ear in a natural listening environment. This means users can hear both music and some ambient sounds simultaneously. As a result, they are not ideal for use in extremely noisy environments.

  • Open-style Earphones do not have the same limitations on speaker size imposed by the ear canal, allowing for significantly improved sound quality. The speakers are positioned outside the ears, and they use directionalair conduction technology to vibrate the air around the ears and transmit sound to the eardrums.

  • By keeping the sound source away from the eardrums, open-style Earphones promote hearing protection and ear health, making them suitable for long-period wear.

  • Allow for normal social interaction during use.

What are in-ear Earphones?

In-ear Earphones are designed to block environmental sounds by creating a sealed chamber within the ear canal, thus providing noise isolation. However, they come with several significant drawbacks:

  • Limitations on Speaker Size: The size of the speakers is restricted by the size of the ear canal, which can impact the potential for further improvement in sound quality.

  • Direct Sound Transmission to Eardrum: In-ear headphones deliver sound directly to the eardrum, which can lead to ear canal  inflammation  and hearing loss over prolonged use.

  • Inability to Engage in Social Conversations: When wearing in-ear headphones, it can be challenging to have normal social conversations because they block out external sounds.

Does sound leak?

Under normal usage conditions, with the volume set at 60-70%, sound leakage should not be an issue. When the volume is turned up to 80-100%, there may be some sound leakage with certain songs. This is a common issue with all headphones, but it might be slightly more noticeable with open-style headphones. It is the only drawback of the directional air conduction technology that awaits an innovative solution. 

How about the volume?

The volume of NEBULA Series products is designed with EQ curves after thousands of tests by professional sound engineers and is suitable for the vast majority of users. The fixed volume remains constant, so when used in extremely noisy environments, the volume may be perceived slightly lower even though the actual volume does not change.

Why do I feel like the volume is low when others find it fine?

The perception of volume can vary due to differences in individual hearing sensitivity and the inherent volume of different music tracks. Different phone models, operating systems, audio output devices, media players, and audio formats also can lead to noticeable differences in output volume. In such cases, users can balance the output volume by adjusting the output device.
